[Scans] Broadway Musical Glory Days from Sparkle vol. 3

Anyone who was a fan of AAA back in mid-2009 would be aware that Nissy was in the Japanese adaptation of the musical Glory Days. Marysa convinced me to share my scans of the coverage of said musical from the ever-elusive magazine SPARKLE (seriously, scans of this magazine are rare, and the only scans from this particular issue that I've seen to date are my own. XP), so here they are!

SO I already told you this on your journal, but I'm in love with these scans, I really am! I was really excited when Glory Days came out and was one of the people enthusiastically searching for clips from it! I think the guys did such a nice job! &hearts

Oh, have you seen the full musical yet? (the Japanese version, obviously!) I've only seen about half of it, but all four guys are fantastic in it!

I did see it once, though I really really wish I could own it on DVD!!!! *sobs* Hahaha, I do remember what a good job they did, though. But it's been such a long time, I can't remember it in full! Are you familiar with the rest of the actors? I only know a bit more about Kanata after the show, and of course Nissy, but you're right--I remember all of them being really good!

The thing I've learned about anything with Irei Kanata in it is that it's insanely hard to find, and, with the exception of the TeniMyu DVDs and CDs he's in (these are just the musicals themselves, I think the additional interviews are all limited-edition), you're lucky to find anything at all. :/ One would think the DVD for Glory Days would me more readily available, though.

And the only other actor in it that I'm really familiar with is Irei Kanata, mostly due to him being in TeniMyu (specifically, as Saeki Kojiro, one of my favorite Prince of Tennis characters, and also because, as Saeki, it meant he had quite a bit of interaction with Aiba Hiroki during most of the SeigakuxRokkaku stuff), and I can probably provide almost everything relevant to him, depending on how much media/info you're interested in. XP *runs off to make media-spam posts in journal*

Slightly off-topic from Glory Days, but still relevant in that it has to do with AAA members in plays: I don't recall seeing anything here about the upcoming Samurai 7 and Legend of the Galactic Heroes stage adaptations, both of which have a member of AAA in their respective casts. Since I was going to check (and post the info to) japanboys, I was wondering if you'd like me to post the info here as well?

About Kanata, I have to agree....It's so hard to find his work. That really is lame.... -______-;; MEDIA SPAM POSTS, though!?!?!?!? *runs to heavens' journal* HAHAHAH! XDDD I'm very interested! My computer probably isn't, but I sure am! XDDD

I already posted info about Samurai 7 (twice now, but I guess it got buried in the mass updates), but if you wanted to post info about Legend of the Galactic Heroes and link to the Samurai 7 post(s), that would be awesome!!! By the way, if you do post stuff on Japan Boys that's your personal collection, please feel free to password lock it or ask for comments or what have you, because we do that here now to protect our stuff, and I don't want people just coming along snagging your things without crediting later, ya know? I just saw your comment about Samurai 7! I've had the info up for for a while now....it seems that other people have only just found out about it, so maybe you, me, and a few others here were the only few who already knew about it! >_>

Thank God for Aiba posting about everything single project he gets himself involved in, then! He had it in his blog well before anyone started talking about it.

I only know about the Legend of the Galactic Heroes adaptation because I stalk follow Matsuzaka Tori. It seems to be one of those obscure anime/manga series that no one really knows about outside of Japan. XP

Yeah!!! Okay, you saw it too, then! The AAA Official Site had mentioned it briefly, and when I saw who was in with Nissy, I immediately jumped on that! Why is that no one even knew it was happening until now? That's kinda lame... >_> and I posted about it here at least twice, so maybe people just aren't paying attention? When I post an update again tonight, I'll bring the Samurai 7 post to people's attention again, then....

HAHAHA! LOL @ Legend of Galactic Heroes! ^^;; I'm happy for Misako, but I did see the anime itself and wasn't a huge fan, so I didn't do more research into that. I DO feel bad that this probably is yet another project that few people know about, so maybe I will consider posting about it. :( But please feel free to post on Japan Boys, if you want to! I'll transfer my Samurai 7 post over there as well! (I feel like a huge baka--I hadn't realized that I hadn't done that already! >.<)
