Hi everyone! I'm a newer AAA fan and a learner of Japanese, and thought I would try my hand at translating the 5th Anneversary Live MC bits found in this entry. At points the original transcriber expresses doubt on the accuracy of some of the lines, but assures that the general meaning is still there. I kinda feel the same way about this translation... ^^;; If anyone has any questions, corrections, or suggestions, please let me know! I hope you guys enjoy~

BEFORE ENCORE PERFORMANCE BITS

Urata: Everyone, thanks for the encooooooooooore!
All: Thank yooooooouuuuuu!
Urata: Man, I'm so glad that we're able to get an encore!
Uno: It's great! A balloon? How's that, everyone? It's so pretty...
Urata: Such a giant balloon... To have something like that on hand, thanks so much!

Uno: (slowly ) to be able / to meet you / I'm truuuuuuuuuuly... (suddenly singing that song by Oda Kazumasa )
Uno & Nishijima: lucky / and so happy ...
Uno, Nishijima & Audience: I can't put it words...
Uno: ... ( seems like she's done )

Hidaka: Go until the end! If you can, do it! ( laughs )
Nishijima: No, I could, but at karaoke and things like that, when I take the mike and sing a song that's not mine, and my own timing gets thrown off (?)... I'm... I'm that kind of person.
Hidaka: Imitating? No, that's not Nishijima...
Uno: It's true! ( laughs )
Hidaka: The Kobe live won't be on a DVD (because it's not being taped), so it's okay if we sing other people's songs. So, it'll be fine that Uno sings a Candies song right now.

Audience: (laughs)
Sueyoshi: What, what? Tetris? Challenge me! Let's have a competition~

Audience: "...ooki ni!"**
Uno: Wow, that's great! Does everyone know that? It's great!

Urata: Ahahaha! Hey, you started it! But really, I can't believe it's been five years of doing the Maido Call.

Nishijima: Hmmmm... ( looks at Naoya-kun as he speaks, crosses his arms, then speaks in the mike in a normal voice ) I LOVE YOU!!!!
Audience: Kyaaaaaaaa!
Uno: Wait, what was that.
Nishijima: Enthusiasm... it felt more natural than something that makes sense.
Hidaka: Uh-huh.
Uno: Uh-huh.
Nishijima: Enthusiasm... I love being this kind of person!
Audience: Kyaaaaaaaaa!!

** "Maido ooki ni" is a way to say "thank you" in the Kansai dialect of Japanese.

NISHIJIMA'S LONG STORY

Hidaka: Okay, okay. Tell the audience about the middle school story Nissy told us back in the dressing room. In the end, he told us about the time he took this alternate way home to meet this girl he likes "by chance"... But then he noticed that only one person was left listening to him!
Urata: All the staff and members heard this too. Then Nissy said, "that happened to me". And all the members and staff replied, "ah..." and thought that it was over. And then, he came out with "and so..."; he was going to continue! Anyhow, it ended up being really long.
Nishijima: Ahahahah. I don't know why I can't have short converstations!
Hidaka: Aw, you're self-conscious about it!
Nishijima: For the people who listen to me, I'd like to be able to give them a good picture of what went on, so I get more and more detailed, I guess.
Hidaka: I think it's okay to reach a normal level of detail, but in Nishijima's case he gets so detailed that it really becomes a problem.
Uno: Yeah, yeah. And then those people who do listen aren't able to sneak away from the confusion...

Nishijima: Um, well...

Urata: What do you all think? After five years... what's left the biggest impression on you... Itou-san! (waves "hi" to Chiaki-chan)
