Weider Artist Support Project
This dates back from the summer, but is rather fun! The Weider Artist Support Project - from the manufacturers of the Weider in Jelly drink that Charge & Go first appeared in the CM for (watch that here) - were devoted to the health and wellbeing of AAA as they prepared for A-Nation 2011.

Over at the site, you can view four pages of reports and videos made at each stage of the project. NUTRITION X TRAINING X TREATMENT. ^ ^
Vol 1 - Introduction
Vol 2 - Treatment and Nutrition
Vol 3 - Mid-Check and Treatment
Vol 4 - A-Nation

The whole info page is a bit worrying health-wise, really - if the translations are right, Misako says she's very sensitive to cold (usually happens when you're TOO THIN!); Hidaka and Shin have both been missing meals due to busy schedules and Shin says he eats a narrow range of foods anyway; Chiaki has been catching colds a lot lately when she previously hardly ever caught one.

Hope they will do sth after this "Treatment and Nutrition" , gambate AAA <3 , waiting to see their improvement =) (and dreaming someday Nissy will gain some muscles lol XD !!!!! )
Thanks a lot for the translation and information ^______^ !!!

i'm not sure what's going on with misako, because she looks so unfit. thank goodness her face still looks alright because for some people, when they lose weight tremendously they also lose weight on the face..
i guess their work schedule are slowly draining them.. or maybe they just aren't resting enough. it pains me to read that they are skipping meals - i only do that when i'm caught up with deadlines but that doesn't mean i skip them entirely since i usually end up grabbing sth to eat AFTER finishing my work or when i give myself a short break. its crazy to go without meals because I'd probably starve to death >.

Misako never stops being beautiful, but I'd be very, very happy if she'd gain just a little weight. :/ Shin could also definitely stand to gain some, and I'm sure both Mitsu and Shuta have lost in the last year or so.

I love video #4, Shinjiro so cute there >o

Actually, which part do you like best? I felt really bad for Shuuta in one of the videos (I forget which one now) where he was with Shin and Chiaki. Shin and Chiaki had no problem doing the leg lifts, but Shuuta's leg was apparently too short, because he had to lift his whole body instead, and then his face disappeared into his shirt collar, rendering him "Turtle Shuuty." xDDDD
I love these videos so much -- thanks again!!! <333

I must admit I lol'd at Shuta accidentally inflicting pain on poor Shin when they were paired together. XD

I actually wish it was possible to DL those...I'd love to make them into a DL set!
xDDDDD Shuuta jumping on Shin, was it? I felt bad for Shuuta in some ways because it looked like Shin didn't bother helping him out when it was his turn. xDDDDDDDD Maybe he didn't wanna cause him pain. Naoya was probably the most unlucky, if only because half the time he had to just do things on his own, since he'd had the instructor as his partner and the instructor was constantly moving around. xD
......what was that about Nissy being paired with Mitsu for this
and looking as though he enjoyed every single second of flexing and stretching with him? xDno subject
I'm sure there must be a way to get the videos off the site, but I can't find a downloader that recognizes them.

Jenny mentioned a good video-DLer on the mod comm, I believe! ^^ It's very useful! It pulls videos right from the page!!

Kara-chan! That's it!! I insist you hop inside your computer screen and be Shuuty's partner! Shinjiro gave up on him halfway through! :P (Better yet, let's both help out together<333)
As for subs, I'm actually working with Alex on subs for Nikihime no Dojo, but if I somehow find time to help translate and sub this, I definitely would let you know. ^^ Maybe someone else will pick it up!!

EHHHHHH if only i could skidoo through my computer!! ;____; believe me, that would be the first thing i would do - be his partner if i could!!! x'D oh my.... *thinking about shuuta* >//////<
aww if only i was a good translator, i would help you guys translate things ;____; you guys seem really busy doing it all by yourselves!

As for translating, don't worry at all! We're pretty decent when we can take our time, but we are far from pro, hahahaha! ^^;; Actually, it means a lot that you wanna help us, so thank so much! It's the thought that counts, right? ^^
no subject
hehehe i could probably translate simple sentences but not whole pages xD (and only if its written down!) so i dont think i'd be a big help!! LOL
no subject
Hey, that's a great start! Just keep practicing, and soon you will be able to translate more and more. It comes almost naturally, I think! (Not that I know for sure, since I am also still quite amateur! ^^;;)
no subject
yeah i'm an expert at transliterating and kinda translating japanese lyrics... but books and interviews are totally different! :O it's my goal to become an awesome translator! ^ ^//
no subject
Lyrics, that's awesome!! That's a great start!! You should keep practicing that way, because that is one great way to learn Japanese!!! (Some day maybe you can be the professional translator for AAA~ <333)

Unlike certain other people. XD I remember in an interview they were all asked what their favorite meals were to cook, and Shin's answer was: "I can't cook!"

I think the way you're going about studying is perfect! You're learning how to use the grammar, which is the key to communication! Some Japanese cannot even read Kanji, so even if you are still using hiragana or katakana, EVERYONE, at least, can read that! :D
no subject
To name one - Arashi's Aiba. XD XD XD
Seriously: I suppose it's possible to write Japanese with no kanji and just use hiragana instead. But I imagine it would look ridiculous to native speakers and you'd be considered illiterate?
no subject
It's definitely possible, though. And if you know the hiragana, you also know how to say it. Speaking is far more necessary to survival than writing, I think! ^^ It might be considered semi-illiterate, but living in Japan and amongst Japanese people could slowly heal that, I think! ^^
Don't feel bad one bit. In the short time you have been studying, you have near expert grammar. That is a pretty unmatchable feat!!
no subject
I've come to the conclusion that if your family name is Aiba and you're in the entertainment business, you are by default very amusing.
And thankyou for the compliments! #^ ^#
no subject
And that's true. There are some clever Aibas out there in the entertainment business! I do wonder if there is some distant relation?
And as for compliments...what compliments!? xD I was only saying the truth! :P No really, kudos kudos!!! <333
